Privacy Policy for Untraced

G Bar G Apps LLC. ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Untraced mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Untraced is designed to operate entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information about you or your device. Specifically:

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any contact information
• We do not collect your location data
• We do not collect information about the apps installed on your device
• We do not transmit any data from your device to our servers
• We do not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools of any kind
• We do not create user accounts or profiles

2. How the App Works

Untraced scans your device locally to identify which apps have been granted location permissions and provides an on-device risk assessment based on publicly available information. All scanning, analysis, and storage of results occurs entirely on your device and never leaves it.

3. Permissions We Request

Untraced requests the following Android permissions to provide its core functionality:

• QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES — required to scan installed apps and their declared permissions. This data is processed locally on your device and never transmitted.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — required to reschedule background scans after your device restarts.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — required to notify you when a background scan detects permission changes.
• REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS — requested to ensure background scans run reliably.
• INTERNET — required to fetch updated risk database information from our public GitHub repository.
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — required to check network availability before attempting to fetch updates.

4. Risk Database

Untraced periodically fetches an updated risk reference database from a publicly accessible file hosted on GitHub. This fetch does not transmit any information about you or your device. The request contains no personally identifiable information.

5. Data Storage

All scan results, permission history, and app settings are stored locally on your device using Android's built-in database storage. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App or use the Clear Scan History feature within the App.

6. Children's Privacy

Untraced does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The App does not collect personal information from any users regardless of age.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the Last Updated date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
